Our Programs
Overview
PPELC is a playful place of love and learning where each child is nurtured, respected, and encouraged to grow. We provide developmentally appropriate experiences that promote discovery and learning.
We offer fun, stimulating activities, and positive relationships that serve
to give children a strong foundation for becoming caring, capable,
life-long learners. PPELC is licensed through the New York State Office
of Children and Family Services (OCFS). We follow New York State regulations for operation. We offer Full-time and Part-time enrollment options for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Our qualified dedicated staff strive to build community as they give each child warm-hearted
individualized attention in a safe enriching environment. It is our joy to
see children grow.

Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. Our center is
in full compliance with the NYS Office of Child and Families Services regulations. Each of our teachers has gone through an extensive background check and are CPR and First Aid certified.
PPELC is set in a safe quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature with ample opportunities to explore the world around us. Outside we have dedicated playgrounds for each age group and open space for our
older children to be active. PPELC is also equipped with a large carpeted
multi-purpose space where children can run, jump, and ride indoors.
Our program philosophy and play-based curriculum are framed by the
12 Principles of Child Development and Learning established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Each child will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and explore at their own pace as
their teachers differentiate lessons to meet the individual needs of each child. Throughout your child's day, they will be surrounded by teachers
who will love and nurture their creativity and curiosity as they
explore the world around them.
